Overview
Guests are provided with transportation from their accommodations. Pickup begins at 8:00 a.m., and once picked up, we head to the Embera-Wounaan village of Gamboa. This immersive tour lasts four hours and offers a complete experience of the village. Accompanied by our expert guide and locals, guests will discover the village’s lifestyle, history, cuisine, culture, and traditions. They will then experience a forest tour where they will observe different types of medicinal plants used by the indigenous people, as well as the plants they use to make their crafts. They will taste their most popular dishes: fried fish, patacones with lemon, and some fruits. For entertainment, they will enjoy a traditional dance ceremony performed by the locals, which will add a vibrant cultural touch to the visit.

- All guests are picked up before departing for Gamboa.
- A bottle of water is included.
- Children 0-4 years old are free; children 5-8 years old pay half price; and children 10 and older pay full price.
- The price includes admission to the community.
- This tour does NOT include a waterfall.
